About This Project

Gutted this master bathroom, except for the Cambria Quartz countertop on the vanity, which was the inspiration for the remodel! We used 2cm Cambria Quartz Praa Sands material for the walls of the new shower! We made the shower handicap accessible by eliminating the curb/threshold, increased the opening from 2′ to 3′, and opened up the space with knee walls. We installed neoprene shower pan material around the entire shower and waterproofed the walls and ceiling. We used Zen Tahitian Black flat pebbles for the shower floor and white pebbles for the shower ceiling. Installed a 5′ linear shower drain, new floating bench seat, and custom size recess/niche! We installed his & her Delta shower fixtures, one with a diverter valve and hand-held shower mounted on an adjustable bar. The shower is also a steam shower. Installed a light/fan in the ceiling of the shower. Installed frameless glass door with towel bar hardware and panels. Installed new DXV free standing soaking tub with wall mounted Delta tub filler with hand-held shower head. Built and installed floating shelves around the side and back of the new tub and installed custom bull-nose tile on the floating shelves. Installed Schluter Systems Ditra Heat floor warming system to the bathroom floor! Installed 16″ x 32″ Mayfair Calacatta Oro glazed tile to the bathroom floor and around the perimeter of the bathroom walls up to 3′ height with custom bull-nose tile above it. Built and installed new maple wood painted double vanity and linen cabinet with full overlay doors with soft close hinges, and full overlay drawers with under-mount soft close guides. Installed 16″ cabinet hardware on the doors and wide drawers and 8″ pulls on the smaller drawers. Installed new Hinkley vanity lights and new beveled mirrors above the vanities and a full length mirror mounted to the end of the new linen cabinet. Installed new ceiling fan and 4″ LED recess lighting. Installed new modern chandelier above the tub. Moved the TV mount to above the entry door. Installed a new DXV one piece toilet with soft close seat and hidden traps. Installed new electrical rocker style switches/receptacles with new modern style plates and Lutron Maestro switches to control the dimmable light fixtures. GORGEOUS!!!!
