About This Project

Gutted this master bathroom! The closet area was reconfigured which doubled the storage capacity by building new walls that separated the space from the bathroom. The closet was customized by Brad Davidson from Incognito Custom Closets. We installed a new 3′ x 6’8″ full view pocket door with rain glass entry to the new closet. The closet also has new 4″ LED recess lighting controlled by a motion switch located above the entry door. We built new walls separating the new shower from the water closet and installed a new 2′ x 6’8″ full view rain glass pocket door entry into the water closet. Converted the tub to a shower and eliminated the window above the tub. Removed the old shower, which allowed us to increase the size of the new double vanity and include a new linen cabinet. Converted the bathroom entry door to a new 2’4″ x 6’8″ full view pocket door with rain glass. Installed new double sided gas logs in the fireplace controlled wit a remote. Installed new 4″ LED recess lights in the ceiling of the bathroom controlled by a Lutron Maestro dimmer switch. Installed new chandelier in the bathroom controlled by a Lutron Maestro dimmer switch. Installed new Panasonic light/fans above the shower and in the water closet. Installed a Solatube to let in natural light in the bathroom. Installed new sconces on each side of the vanity mirror. Installed LED tape under-cabinet lighting beneath the new floating vanity. Installed new rocker panel style electrical switches/receptacles with decorative plates. Moved the plumbing drain for the new shower and moved the lavatory drains for the new sink locations. Installed new Pex water lines for the new plumbing fixtures. In the shower we installed a Mirabelle Rigi shower valve, diverter valve, hand-held shower mounted on a hook, and new shower head. Installed matching vanity 8″ spread faucets and Mirabelle porcelain under-mount sinks. The new shower is handicap accessible with Atlas Concorde Italian 3D White Wave Glossy 16″ x 32″ porcelain tile laid in a vertical pattern with Lungarno 2″ Pearl Metallic & Glass Hex mosaic accent tile and MK Trail Cultura Pebble Spring mosaic flat stone shower floor tile. The bench seat top is Cambria Roxwell Quartz! Installed frame-less glass panel & door with matching hardware. Installed Happy Floors I-Design Collection 6″ x 24′ porcelain tile in the master bathroom floor. Used Bostik grout for all areas. Installed Kabinart Cherry wood floating double vanity cabinet stained Expresso with matching linen cabinet with adjustable shelves. Doors and drawers are slab style with soft close hinges and drawer guides. Installed the beautiful Cambria Roxwell Quartz counter-top, shower bench seat, and fireplace hearth fabricated by C & M Cabinets & Granite. Installed new American Standard toilet. We installed all new crown molding, baseboard, and shoe molding. Painted the bathroom, closet, and all trim using Sherwin-Williams paint products.
